It was a great pleasure to light the Art Institute of Chicago’s current exhibition, Korean National Treasures: 2,000 Years of Art, now open through July 5.
The exhibit ranges from 6th-C Buddhist sculpture through Joseon dynasty painting and porcelain, and contemporary paintings of the 20th C , the works demonstrate the artistic legacy produced on the Korean peninsula over millennia.

Art Institute of Chicago: Sneak peak: “Myth & Marble”, an exhibition opening next week at the Art Institute of Chicago is from Rome’s magnificent Torlonia Collection.
