What is patriotism? What does it mean to be patriotic? Is it a virtue like courage or kindness? Is it earned or owed? Is it about a state, a land, a people, or something else? Our theme for
issue #26 is “What is Patriotism?”

This theme explores fundamental questions about the relationship between people and their nation, state, or home.
