Among the work to be offered is "Still Life of Roses in an Alabaster Vase" from 1865 by Sarah Davis (Fl. 1870's). Davis was an early painter of Victorian still-life based in Massachusetts painting at the same time and in a style similar to Martin Johnson Heade.

Davis exhibited her exquisitely-painted floral still lifes to much acclaim in NY from the mid-1870s to the mid-1880s. She was particularly active in the Brooklyn art community alongside prominent male artists such as George Clough (1824-1901) & Clinton Loveridge (1838-1915), whom she exhibited with frequently at the Brooklyn Art Association.

One of several spring landscapes being offered is "Dogwood Blossoms" by Alice Preble Tucker De Haas (1859-1920). A native of Boston, Alice De Haas spent most of her life between East Gloucester, Massachusetts and New York City. She studied under William Merritt Chase (1849-1916), Robert Swain Gifford (1840-1905) and the Dutch-American marine painter Maurits Frederik Hendrik de Haas (1832-1895) who later became her husband.
