ONE DAY BEGINNERS FACE PAINTING WORKSHOP
Sunday Oct 9th or Monday October 10th (Columbus Day!)
10am -2:30pm in Paterson NJ or 10-5 for face and body painting.
4.5 hours. $175 for Face Painting ONLY, $250 for Face Painting AND Body Painting
This hands-on workshop is for beginners. Learn the basics you need to
become a competent face painter. You will learn sponge work, blending,
color theory, safety, how to choose a brush, proper brush care and a
variety of brush strokes.
There will be plenty of opportunities to practice what we learn. Come
prepared to paint and be painted!
You will be shown basic full faces and be able to practice these faces
after each step by step demo.
A maximum class size of 8 insures that you will have the close
individual attention you need to learn the basics of face painting.

Body Painting instructional -- No actual models will be body painted.
The same painting techniques that you learn in the face painting segment of the class are the same ones that you can use to body paint. Learn how to plan a design to cover the whole body using male and female templates. Learn how to design around problem areas. Learn how to best preserve a design. How to paint a n**e model and what type of covering is best if your model is not to be n**e. Learn how to paint a satin finish and a high gloss gold and silver. How to tell your model to prep for a body painting. How to best remove body paint. Learn about possible venues for body painting.
Face painting class required. $250 for face painting AND body painting.
Bring a friend and you each save $10!
If you want to take the class but are unable to because of financial reasons, please reach out. A limited number of partial scholarships are available.

There is a minimum of 4 students needed for the class.
If you have your own face painting kit, please feel welcome to bring
it so that you can practice what you are learning with tools that are
familiar to you. Otherwise, I can provide you with the items you need
for the workshop. No products will be available for sale.
The face painting class is the foundation that you need if you want to take my body painting class.
Former students are alway welcome back for a free refresher if the class is not full.
Class will be held in Paterson, NJ.
Easily accessible by public transit from NYC.

Ready to hit the ground running with shoots this week. If you could come out and model for me, I'd so very much appreciate it. I've got 31 cards left and the clock is ticking on how long I can shoot in this studio.

It's too hot for body paint so I'm painting with LIGHT!
I'm shooting an inclusive tarot deck. I need you to be one of the cards. I'm about 1/4 done. My goal is to be finished shooting by Halloween and have the deck available for Christmas.
I'm looking for all types of models, every race, body type, age including people who use wheelchairs. The project is LGBT-friendly. I'm including 4 versions of the Lovers card (mf, mm, ff, triad).
The deck is being shot using painting with light photography.
It's a n**e tfp shoot. I shoot at the Art Factory in Paterson http://www.artfactory.us.com
It's accessible via bus from Port Authority and I'm happy to get you at the bus stop if needed.
Was going away this weekend but had a change of plans and now I'm open Friday and Sunday. Saturday is already booked. Sorry.
