ARTLAB78 is a new experimental exhibition space in NYC where invited artists are given the opportunity to show their work in an intimate setting to a selected audi

ence composed of artlovers, critics, journalists, designer, artists and friends. It will also serve as a short-term residence for an artist, if the artist is not living in New York City. ARTLAB78 draws its inspiration from
Alfred Stieglitz’s galleries: 291, “Intimate Gallery, and ” An American Place;
Roy Neuberger and patrons like him who decided to help living artists; and
Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney who trusted her own taste and provided exhibition opportunities for artists. It’s a terrific adventure and you’re invited to share in it with Laurence and Franck Neron-Bancel. Laurence and Franck Neron-Bancel curate all exhibitions. open by appointment

DIRECTIONS
Subway
Take the #1 train to 231st Street. Cross Broadway and take the #10 bus (westbound) to Kappock Street. Walk downhill a few steps, and cross street to the yellow brick building (The Winston Churchill). To walk directly from the subway, it takes about 12-15 minutes.

Metro North
From Grand Central (22 minutes) or 125th Street (12 minutes), take the train to the Spuyten Duyvil station. Walk out of the train station lot to Palisade Avenue, turn right, and walk 5-8 minutes uphill passing a blue building on your right before entering the driveway of our building just past the playground.

Bus
Take the express BXM1 (from the East side) or the BXM2 (from the West side). Get off at Kappock Street directly across the street from 2500 Johnson Avenue. The express bus takes approximately 35-45 minutes.

Car
Take the West Side Highway north, cross the Henry Hudson Bridge, and take the first exit ( #18/Kappock Street). Proceed from the exit ramp through 3 lights (very close together).
