The in-person Exhibition and virtual show honors the finest in realist painting, drawing and sculpture.

Blind jurying will be employed, with the top ranking Finalists invited to exhibit at the Salmagundi Club.
We are pleased to continue the choice of ‘on-line only’ or ‘in-gallery’ for all entries. Highly ranked entries that expressly choose to be ‘on-line only’ will be exhibited virtually as Finalists. Semi-Finalists will be showcased on the AAPL website.

The 98th Grand National Exhibition at New York’s historic Salmagundi Club is officially open for entries today through August, 11.
Submit your finest work today through ShowSubmit.

Open to all AAPL members and non-members.
AAPL membership in good standing is required for the discounted entry fee. New members are always welcome!

Founded in 1928 by a group of artists at the Salmagundi Club, American Artists Professional League is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing realism in American fine art. Today, AAPL represents a curated community of more than 600 accomplished artists working across a wide range of media throughout the United States.

Membership benefits include:

• A full schedule of online and in-person exhibitions
• Two in-person gallery exhibitions annually, including the renowned Grand National Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club in New York City along with two online juried show opportunities. Be eligible for substantial cash and merchandise awards for all exhibitions!
