Cynthia Nash has been an involved with the arts for her entire life, both an artist and an administrator. In the course of looking for music for a translation of Aristophanes’ The Birds, she became immersed in the music business, representing musicians and producing concerts. In the 80’s she began painting full time and also began using photography in her work. She supported herself by working in

advertising as a production designer and stylist. After the trauma of 9/11 she trained as a landscape designer. She is currently working on commissions for private gardens and a series of digital abstract still lives.
