When two visual artists became frustrated that their day jobs were no longer paying for their art but mostly for framing it, they came up with an affordable framing solution for everyone. Erick Sanchez and Miguel Trelles combined Sanchez’s extensive framing expertise and Trelles’ remarkable Studio 303 ecosystem to create Frames and Stretchers at the Clemente

Smile-ism 2006 Series by Chinese born artist Yue Minjun which features the famous face with the enigmatic, jaw breaking grin which is perhaps the most recognizable in contemporary Chinese painting, was indeed made as a self portrait for this artist. This fun signed and numbered 35 3/8” x 43 1/8” has been mounted onto acid free white with a slim 1” margins and Uv filtered in a 1” face white hardwood . 😁 😍🖤

We are seeing DOUBLE!!!! Amazing side to side of the same 11” x 14” with two different framing choices. Both have the same Mat hinged Mounting technique and same 2” margins on rising white . Both pieces have been framed with a frame that shows 5/8” face width with not only different finishes but differ woods. The first with a classic gallery white finish frame while the second is an wood with a whitewash finish for an added warmth. ✨ 📷
