Hellenic roots is excited to announce that after an entire year of hands on research in Greece, our Executive Director, Petros Fourniotis, has returned to New York and is ready for an amazing year of Greek Dance! He will be personally teaching all classes in Bayside, and Plainview, with brand new material for children and adult groups, along with competitive teams!

Join us for an unforgettable 3-hour intensive Zeimbekiko workshopled by master teacher Petros Fourniotis, who brings over 35 years of experience to the dance floor!

"After years of requests from parents and dance enthusiasts alike, I am excited to finally share the art of Zeimbekiko—a powerful and expressive Greek dance that tells stories of life, love, and resilience." - Petros

This workshop is the third part of a four-part series designed for both beginners and those looking to refine their skills. Experience the rhythm, emotion, and cultural significance of this traditional dance as you are guided through its intricate steps and movements. Whether you’re looking to connect with your roots, learn something new, or simply have fun, this workshop promises to be a transformative experience.

Don’t miss this opportunity so grab your dancing shoes and prepare to immerse yourself in the beauty of Zeimbekiko!

Cost of each 3 hour workshop is $100 per student who took Part 1 and/or Part 2, $125 for first time students, $100 each for siblings.

Workshop is open to children age 13 and up.
