Heritage Museum of Newaygo County Our museum is free to visit! We hope you enjoy your tour, we welcome a donation. Great new exhibits on a variety of historical topics.

Our Log Mark Gift Gallery is the only authorized retailer of Ge**er merchandise in the county! The museum is closed when the schools are closed due to weather events. If you have a class or group that would like a tour oytside of our normal hours, that can be arranged by calling us at 231.652.5003.

Be sure to check out this week’s Times Indicator for a featured article on author Anne Crans, then join us as we welcome her to the Heritage Museum Speaker Series on Thursday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Anne is the author of "Pictured Life," a book that shares photographs and stories from Northern and Upper Michigan. Her presentation will include stories of early immigrant families, old schools, churches, barns, and homes, along with pieces of her own journey from the Netherlands to Michigan.

Anne will also share several flute solos as part of the evening, making this a unique blend of local history, photography, storytelling, and music.

The presentation will be held at the Heritage Museum of Newaygo County, 12 Quarterline St., Newaygo. We hope you’ll join us!
