Heritage Museum of Newaygo County Our museum is free to visit! We hope you enjoy your tour, we welcome a donation. Great new exhibits on a variety of historical topics.

Our Log Mark Gift Gallery is the only authorized retailer of Ge**er merchandise in the county! The museum is closed when the schools are closed due to weather events. If you have a class or group that would like a tour oytside of our normal hours, that can be arranged by calling us at 231.652.5003.

How to bid in our auction!
Through our website:
1. Go to our website https://www.newaygocountyhistory.org/
2. Click the white auction logo. This will take you to the auction page.
3. On the auction page, click the top toggle button to "auction" to see the packages. Want to bid? Click the blue button to register/bid and follow the prompts.

On Facebook:
1. Search for the Heritage Museum of Newaygo County and find a post about the auction.
2. Click the blue auction link.
3. At the top, click the toggle button to "Auction" to preview packages.
4. If you would like to bid, it is best to click the 3 horizontal dots at the top of your phone (while in the post) and choose "open external browser." The auction software will send you a confirmation code to your email. This will allow you to switch from your email app back to your browser app without the page disappearing.

The Michigan Nature Association will share how prescribed fire is used as a conservation tool across Michigan. This presentation will explore why fire can be healthy for the land, how burns are safely managed, and the ways they support native habitats and biodiversity.
