✨ Artist Spotlight - Joseph Eschenberg ✨
Joseph Eschenberg’s mixed media assemblages are layered explorations of movement, tension, instinct, and transformation. Built from found materials, textured surfaces, industrial elements, and intuitive composition, his work feels both architectural and emotionally charged.
His featured piece, What is Crossroads, explores the defining moments that shape a creative and personal journey. The intersecting paths move throughout the composition like a visual map of choice and consequence, reflecting the internal push and pull between ambition, pressure, integrity, and possibility.
There’s an energy within Joseph’s work that feels constantly in motion. The piece balances structure and chaos so naturally that the eye never fully settles in one place. Every texture, line, and layered element begins to feel symbolic of the decisions, collisions, and unexpected turns that shape a life over time.
What makes this work especially compelling is the way it sits at the threshold between where someone has been and where they may be going next. It is about transformation, but also about the weight of the choices that lead us there. The piece quietly asks viewers to reflect on the crossroads within their own lives, and how differently everything might look had even one path been chosen differently.
