The Vampire of Düsseldorf— Peter Kürten 🧛

He grew up with an extremely violent father in Germany; priming him for his eventual killings. With an ingrained pension for causing harms to others, Kürten would soon go on to murder animals and even his friends. As an adult, he started a killing spree and was found, by police, to be drinking the blood of his victims.

Executed in 1931, discover who turned him over to the authorities. The answer might just shock you 👉

We're taking a look inside the head of Peter Kurten, one of the most notorius sereal killers in history.

BEWARE! Your child's toy might just try and eat them!

When Cabbage Patch kids first debuted they were flying off the shelves. These popular dolls were seen getting their hair cut, going for a swim, and even eating. To further this success, Mattel created the Snacktime kid. A Cabbage Patch doll that could literally eat with the help of motors inside its mouth.

Everything was great! That is until kids started feeding them their hair and began to be eaten alive. 👉

Mattel's release of these cannibal Cabbage Patch certainly redefined "Snacktime." But how did they get away with creating this hair-swallowing dolly?

What a bloody delicious treat! 🍫

In Russia, anemia is a common condition that affects around 25% of their population, especially children. To combat this, Hematogen bars were created! Part milk, part sugar, and at least 5% cow's blood. Adding blood to our food is a cultural norm that's been happening for centuries. The key was making it shelf stable to reap the most benefits.

Find out what other iron-rich delights were created here 👉

The delicious bars contained a dark secret, one linked to the slightly metallic flavor of the bars: black food albumin, or blood.

Death may be a mystery but one thing's for certain. You might turn into soap!

In a process called saponification, fatty materials can evolve into soap or wax via a chemical component under the right conditions. For bodies, this tends to occur for those interred in water or soil with the right enzymes.

Learn more about this rare yet historically significant occurrence here 👉

With just the right conditions, a co**se can turn into soap!
