✨ CALLING ALL CREATIVE KIDS ✨ Looking for a magical summer experience? Registration is now open for Wild Stage Camp! 🎭 🎶

Led by the amazing Jaime Lee Hart, this wild adventure invites students in grades 3-6 to express themselves through theatre, music, dance, cardboard creation, and playful exploration of nature. With beautiful ocean views as their backdrop, kids will move, laugh, create, build confidence, and connect in a deeply supportive and joyful environment. No previous acting, art, or music experience is required; all skill levels are welcome!

July 20-24, 10am-1pm
Newport Visual Arts Center
Tuition: $200 (includes snacks, supplies)

THIS SUNDAY: Monthly drop-in figure drawing, 2pm-4pm, at Newport Visual Arts Center. This is an opportunity for artists of any skill level to experience and/or practice figure drawing from life with a live model (no nudity). Drop in at the Newport Visual Arts Center monthly - on 3rd Sundays from 2-4pm - throughout 2026. Join us Saturday, June 27 from 2-5pm at Bay Street Pier for the official unveiling of three new murals on the US Coast Guard wall, each painted by a Lincoln County artist (Amy Pattison, Liz Birdwell, and Nina Rodenhisler). Listen to live music from jazz trio Pacific Standard Time and Coastal Voices SoundWave, take part in kids' art activities, and enjoy catering by Asiatico (their patio will be available for anyone who’d like an adult beverage while reveling in the music on the pier.) OPENING THIS FRIDAY: Rebecca Hooper's exhibit, Woven from the Port, will be on display June 12 through August 30 in the Runyan Gallery at Newport Visual Arts Center. Hooper transforms maritime materials into stunning, contemporary tapestries. An opening reception will take place this Friday, June 12th from 5-7pm. Join us for the debut of SEA CHANGE, a stunning new exhibit by Lincoln City artist Julie Fiedler, on view July 1 through August 30 at Newport Visual Arts Center. Julie's hand-formed ceramic fish, tidepool-inspired sculptural busts, and ocean-themed acrylic paintings are the result of a lifelong fascination with the Pacific. Each piece is a labor of love, researched and crafted to honor the marine species it portrays.

Opening Reception: Wednesday, July 1st, 5-7pm. Artist talk at 6 pm. Light refreshments served; free admission; all are welcome.
