Artwork from the exhibit “Finding Hope Within”
An exciting closing reception for the Finding Hope Within exhibit, extraordinary works by incarcerated women in Vermont’s prisons, will take place on Friday, May 8th at 4 p.m. at the MAC Center for the Arts,158 Main Street, Newport, VT.
The event closing will feature the exhibit curators; John Vincent of A Revolutionary Press, and Heather Newcomb of Vermont Works for Women. There will be short presentations and an on-site demonstration of letterpress printing, with free postcard sized prints to be given to all who attend the closing.
