The Museum will have a lemon shake-up stand at the America 250, A Jasper County Celebration on July 3. We're looking for volunteers to help make and sell shake ups!

Two shifts, 4 people/shift. Shift 1 is 3-6pm and Shift 2 is 6-9pm.

We're excited to have two stands at America 250: A Jasper County Celebration in July! We're selling lemon shake-ups and will also have a doll stand as a tribute to past Ste. Marie Picnics. We can't wait!

to 1925 when Margaret Raez earned her diploma from the Newton Community High School! This diploma measures 16" by 20" and was made to be displayed just like this.

Big thanks to the Effingham Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for choosing the Museum as a recipient of a beautiful bench! We enjoyed visiting with these ladies and giving them a peek at the new space. We have some fun plans to incorporate the bench into our exterior!

Artifact Friday! This graniteware is part of our military collection! It was used at the mess hall of Camp Logan at Houston, TX during World War I in 1917-1918. Donated by Delbert Matson.
