A small stretch for me… I was recently interviewed on a podcast for the first time. 💛

I don’t always feel comfortable talking about myself, but this conversation felt different. The women at CEO Sisters’ Road Trip were thoughtful, generous, and genuinely curious — which made it feel more like a real conversation than an “interview.”

We talked about entrepreneurship, stained glass, building something from scratch, and the messy middle of figuring things out as you go.

✨ Repair Day in the Studio ✨

Today was all about giving beloved stained glass pieces a second life. I completed two repairs in the studio, each with its own story, quirks, and careful craftsmanship.

🛠️ Repair #1: A lamp shade with structural and cap issues — stabilized, secured, and glowing beautifully again.
🌸 Repair #2: A floral panel with edge and hanging stress — replaced frame with zinc, cleaned up, and ready to shine safely in a window once more.

Repairs aren’t always flashy, but they’re deeply satisfying. They’re about honoring the original maker, respecting the material, and making sure these pieces can keep doing what they were meant to do: catch the light and bring joy.

Work in progress ✨

There’s something about this stage—the glass cut, foiled, and just starting to come together—that feels like a deep breath. Color meeting light. Patience meeting possibility.

This piece is sitting on my bench right now, waiting for solder and that final click when everything locks into place. It’s messy, meditative, and exactly why I love teaching this craft.
