💚Embroidered green rope basket with celestial charms, leather tassels💚:

Vision of piece:

An embroidered contour of Boulder County business report the Flat Irons, iconic star tops the piece as the beauty of Boulder‘s natural backdrop, draws us all here.

The many multicolored, leather tassels create the “noise” (movement) to constantly create a community and environment of listening to all inhabitants concerns (human and wildlife)- of continued open space priorities along with conservation measures – open political and climate discord conversations – creating a place we all feel good to be calling home.

"I use beautiful ropes, fabrics, ribbons, vintage buttons, threads and recycled leathers to create one-of-a-kind artworks. Bowls, baskets, table mats and totes are artworks and practical vessels all in one.

I’m inspired by the rhythms of layers and textures in nature. This creates balance and interest…grounding us with beauty, creative energies and the connection of nature to our lives – fostering peace and community.

I see these physical materials, acting as layers of ‘paint’, evolving into wonder and surprise for both the viewer and artist."
