Huge day for Nixa Choirs.

With over 50 choirs competing this weekend, our students delivered at the highest level.

Nixa Chamber Singers earned 1st Place (Large School Division) at the Worlds of Fun Competition in the Moulin Rouge Theater, and took home the Sweepstakes Award for best choir of the entire weekend. This marks their 5th consecutive year winning Sweepstakes at this competition.

At the Tivoli Theater, Crimson Chorale and Aetos Singers tied for 1st Place (Large School Division), making them the top high school choirs of the weekend in their category.
To top it off, Aetos Singers were awarded the Sweepstakes Award for best choir of the entire weekend at the Tivoli Theater.

Every group competed. Every group earned 1st Place. Two groups earned Sweepstakes.

Truly an incredible weekend. So proud of these students and all they accomplished.

What stands out most isn’t just the ratings—it’s the consistency, the preparation, and the ownership each of these students showed walking into their rooms.

We had students step up in big moments, support each other all day, and represent this program at a really high level.

Aetos Singers, Chamber Singers, and Crimson Chorale had a wonderful day of rehearsals with Dr. Erin Plisco from Missouri State University. We grew musically, with a special focus on creating beautiful, resonant sound. Thank you, Dr. Plisco, for spending time with our students and working with us!
