We are still in search of 100 folks to donate $20.00 to get the new board off to a good start. Oddly enough, those who have indicated that they will donate do not live in OV. If we kneel in the parking lot will we get your attention then LOL......Step Up OV.....your museum needs you

New board is in place and they need your help. We are hoping that AT LEAST 100 folks will step forward with a $20.00 donation to start this group off right. They need working capital to order for sweats and t's for Christmas and for office supplies to redo the walls. We would like this to happen this week. Let's do this OV. You can drop off your donation days 2-5 or put money in envelope and slip under the door (envelops and pen will be on podium outside the door.....if you leave cash make sure your name is on envelope so we know who to acknowledge). This is your community museum and we need help. Also, what do you think about this on a shirt?

Two reminders from the museum today....
1. Half price sale going on through this week....closed Saturday but open Thursday, Friday and Sunday 2-5pm
2. Charlie Fleetwood has scheduled a meeting today at 7pm at the Knights of Columbus (Thursday the 7th) to recruit volunteers and answer questions about the museum (enter through the side door)

Charlie Fleetwood will be taking over at the museum....he has called a meeting for Thursday evening September 7th at the Knights of Columbus at 7 pm to recruit volunteers. He is hoping for at least twenty or more folks to step up and help. He will need more folks for the BOD.....docents....and worker bees to help change the walls at the museum. He needs your support and encouragement. STEP UP OV.....BALL IS IN YOUR COURT.

UPDATE.....we have heard from a number of folks who are out of town that would like to take advantage of this sald SO we will be extending the sale through Saunday September 9......I gues this could morph into a hurricane sale LOL

Labor Day Week-end half price sale at the Ocean View Station Museum. T's, tanks, sweats, notecard sets, pictures.....all half price. Hats are $15.00. Start your Christmas shopping early and also help the museum. Open Saturday and Sunday 2-5. Get yours while supplies last.
