Thank you to everyone who was able to join us as we celebrated 20yrs. of the Norfolk Public Art Program and the closing of "Rhythm of the Stage" at The Gallery at the Attucks.

Deputy City Manager, LaVoris Pace welcomed guests and we enjoyed entertainment throughout the evening by Big Torrin. A lively public art panel discussion was led by Norfolk Arts Commissioner and ODU Professor of Art, Peter Eudenbach with St. Paul's Cultural Trail Artist, Zachary Robinson, ODU Assistant Professor of Art, Jamie Robertson and Norfolk Arts Manager, Karen Rudd.

It was wonderful to see so many of our exhibiting artists and other familiar faces such as former Norfolk Arts Commissioner Susan Goode, Terrance Afer-Anderson, Barbara Laws and many artists who have created public art with us to include Anne Bousquet, Christopher Kozak and Ka-Son Reeves.

Thank you to the community for all of the creative ideas for projects you shared with us.

The Norfolk Public Art program has now completed more than 120 artworks since the program was established in 2006. Watch for new opportunities for artists to create public art in Norfolk, VA to be shared soon!
