Hi, I’m Carrie Coleman, and I opened Carrie Coleman Fine Art in 2011 after realizing there weren’t many places in Hampton Roads to discover original art in a relaxed, approachable setting.
My gallery is attached to my home in Norfolk, and that’s exactly how I want people to experience art — not in a sterile white space, but in a real home filled with family, dogs, cats, conversation, and everyday life.
I work with collectors, interior designers, corporations, and first-time buyers, and I love helping people find pieces that completely change the feeling of a room. The gallery includes landscapes, florals, abstracts, photography, sculpture, and work from emerging artists across the country.
One of my favorite recent evenings was hosting a client and seven friends for a Friday night happy hour in the gallery — wine, cheese, conversation, and art browsing at home. I love opening the gallery for small groups and helping people experience art in a relaxed, welcoming way.
