Glennie's milk truck fleet lined up for review! The truck license plates are a bit hard to read, but they look like 1943 or 1945. Demand for Glennie's milk actually got so high in this area that they couldn't even keep up with their production and had to purchase additional gallons from many of the smaller dairy farms in North Andover and surrounding towns.

This funny little book in our collection was published in the 1820s and is titled "American Toilet" - although the title refers to "toilet" in the sense of fixing your appearance and not the more familiar fixture that you would find in a bathroom. This is actually a lift-the-flap book, and every page has an item that you would typically find on a vanity or dressing table. Each illustration has a flap which lifts up to reveal an American value or moral.

This book was donated from the estate of Horatio and Caroline (Stevens) Rogers.
