Hi Folks. I know that I've mentioned this to a handful of you over the past few years, but my new venture www.Fineartdonations.com is now live. The purpose of the site is to facilitate the donation of appreciated works of art to accredited 501(c)(3) institutions, so that the public can enjoy a greater variety of art work, and the donors can enjoy the satisfaction of making their works available to the public, while at the same time reaping the rewards provided by the IRS. Works offered for donation, will be offered simultaneously to museum professionals all across the country. For the initial six month period, there is no charge for listing a work with us, other than a small percentage which is due only upon the successful donation of a work. If you represent artist's estates, or have appreciated works that you would like to donate, please sign up, and tell your friends.

I love these works by Ed Zutrau.

Three of Edward Zutrau’s Japanese exhibitions were held in 1960: at Tokyo Gallery in March, at the Takegawa Gallery in June, and the Mudo Gallery in November–December. Embracing stronger color contrasts and more free-form shapes, the work of this time reflects a synthesis of Japanese and Western aesthetics. Two years ago, Doug Gold saw a drawing by Edward Zutrau and as a consequence of that, I reached out to his daughter Susan Zutrau to find out if the family had any works. Little did I know that this phenomenal artist's work had laid hidden in a family member's home, some of which was unseen by others for 7 decades (and none of it seen within the last 3). I knew immediately that Edward Zutrau was a major talent, who needed to be viewed by the world, and working with Susan and her Nephew Nicholas, we attracted the interest of the premier gallery for 1950's and 1960's abstract artists - Berry Campbell. The visionaries at Berry Campbell immediately saw what we saw, and as of today they are officially announcing their representation of the estate, and making it available to the public. Doug Gold and I are thrilled, to have played a small role, in re-introducing Edward Zutrau's masterpieces to the world. Fingers Crossed.
