Did you see that our very own Scott Rickenberger was featured on PBS News?

Back in October, students from the Media Production class at the Overlake School reached out to Scott Rinckenberger with the idea to create a piece showcasing how he uses his art to build community. The piece was filmed, co-created, and produced by students in the High School Journalism Training Program and highlights Scott’s Forest Abides project.

The segment was unexpectedly selected to air on the PBS News Hour -on Earth Day! We’re thrilled to celebrate the hard work and national broadcast recognition these talented students have earned.

We’re thrilled to announce that tomorrow, Saturday, May 9th, Scott Rinckenberger will be joining Seattle Art Source for the May Georgetown Art Attack.

Seattle Art Source will be open from 3–7 PM, and Scott will be in the gallery from 5–6 PM, including a short artist talk at 5:30 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Scott in person and hear directly about his work, creative process, and artistic perspective.

If you’ve been wanting to experience the Georgetown Art Attack or connect with the artist behind the work, tomorrow’s event is the perfect chance.
