Congratulations to Hoover senior artists Ella Kamyszek, Mia Sumser, Ava Skolnik, and Olivia Newman for their recent recognition by the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Hoover artists have now been honored for over 25 consecutive years for their creative endeavors.

Ella Kamyszek's portfolio entitled "As I Recall...", and Mia Sumser's individual work entitled "Diner of the Future" will be on display at Kent State Stark in the Fine Arts and Student Center buildings from January 20 – February 6, 2026.

Thanks to 2006 Hoover graduate, Megan Bush-Cash. She shared her work as a freelance designer to our students this past Friday.

We encourage you to see her unique work “Marks & Motifs” at Studio 525 at Hoover High School during normal school hours or by appointment.

We are pleased to announce 2006 Hoover High School graduate, and graphic designer/artist Megan Bush Cash will be displaying her work in Studio525. In addition, she will be a guest artist in our classrooms to share with students her journey and creative processes. We are so excited to have her talent and inspiring message shared to our students.

The results are in! Congratulations to the Hoover artists selected as part of the "top 300" works in Ohio for the Governor's Ohio Youth Art Exhibition. Eva Bable, Ella Kamyszek (2) , Jillian Rose, Ava Skolnik, Mia Sumser. They will have their work on display in April, in Columbus. Hoover represented Region 7 so well with six works. Congratulations to ten Hoover artists who were recognized at the regional level for the Governor's Youth Art Exhibition for the 2024-2025 school year. Hoover had more than double the number of recognized works by any other school in this region. These eighteen works will now go on to compete at the state level in the coming weeks. Of the eighteen works recognized, a selection are work are displayed below.
