Hello Nedware Supporters & Followers. I know I'm miserable at posting and updating information about Nedware on this site. Hope I can improve. However, this post is to let people know that Nedware is taking a sabbatical for a few months, as I am having knee replacement surgery. The summer was very successful and very busy. Thanks to all who contributed to our success! It took a toll on us. I'll be rethinking how the business operates in the future to reduce the stress. So stay tuned. Nedware will return. Thanks to all our customers for their loyalty...

A few of you have asked me about the next Nedware show. Well, funny you should ask! I thought I had a applied and been accepted to a show in Wells, Maine, for next weekend and I've been madly prepping for it. But the online acceptance letter I looked at was from last year. Don't you hate it when that happens? Embarrassing to say the least. So Nedware will have a home studio show in the next 6 weeks but there is no show for me next weekend. Stay tuned.

In conjunction with The Maine Pottery Tour you are invited to a
Nedware Pottery Spring Open House on Saturday April 30, 10-5 & Sunday May 1, 11-4. Brand new just-out-of-the-kiln pottery will be on display plus seconds and culls at rock bottom prices! See the studio and watch Ned throw pots on the wheel! We’ll have refreshments. Come rain or shine.
Directions: Exit 17 Yarmouth/Freeport off 295, go south (toward Yarmouth) about .5 miles to light, (Ace Hardware on R) turn R, up to E Main, turn R, then quick L onto North Road, go 1.5 mi then R on Ledge, go 1.3 mi then L up drive at 570 Ledge. See you there!

Nedware is winding down for the season. I have one more load of pots in the kiln to meet some commissions, then we'll take a break for the holidays. This is the year I hope to develop a large inventory during these winter months to ease the load for later in the year. And it's also the time to play...with new shapes, ideas, and designs. Hurray for the deep dark months of winter (never thought I'd say that!). If you have any pottery needs, do let me know with an email, call, or message. And HAPPY HOLIDAYS to all!
