Another beautiful woodgrain door. We are pretty full on the schedule but we move through them pretty quick.  We do not use stain! These are all acrylic paints.  I promise they will last at least 10 years. It’s artistry work. Not joe blows painting.

Door season has begun! We are still scheduling doors for the summer. I’m pretty much doing them statewide now.

Partnered up with Longs kitchen and bath on this one. We did all the cabinetry they did countertops, electrical and plumbing. The kitchen had half-inch overlay doors. We decided it would look nicer if we went full overlay. We made all new doors, professionally painted everything, new crown, made a hood, built a new island, light bar for under cabinet lighting, pull outs and new hardware. The client couldn’t have been happier.

It has started. All winter long, people were calling and getting on the books for our door finishing service. Our process of doing them not only takes talent and skill but also provides way more protection to the project. Painting companies will say they can do the same thing and rub your door with some stain to create the finish, but that finish will last only six months. I use acrylic paint to create woodgrain, then apply an exterior 2k clear coat for extra UV protection and durability. If someone wanted me to guarantee my work for 10 years, I would do it. I've done my whole entire exterior, which is all cedar shake, and it still looks like the day I did it 10 years ago. The best part about the way I do them is watching my customers' faces when I tell them it's done - it's like I pulled a rabbit out of my ass look.

A woodgrain art transformation done with acrylic paint. It’s a beautiful house in downtown Plymouth that just needed a little pop.. we added wood accents with just a brush to give this home what it needed to stand out on the block. We start doing exterior doors and home accent pieces starting late April. We fill the schedule pretty fast. If you want a natural wood look without the expense of real wood that fails and needs maintenance anyway in Michigan get on our list! We do beautiful work!

This was a door in DTP. Customer just finished a large renovation on the home and wanted a little pop away from the blue and white. We went walnut on the door.
