SATURDAY THE 16TH OF THIS MONTH, THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS JOINING WITH MARK SHERWOOD TO BRING THE EXCITMENT THAT IS SEEN IN THIS WORLD OF ROCKS AND MINERALS.

ALL LEVELS OF INTEREST ARE INVITED. THE TALK IS FREE AND OPEN TO ALL.

THE MEETING BEGINS AT 10AM AND WILL BE AT THE MUSEUM LOCATED AT 1300 S. BROADWAY.

This next Saturday, the 21st at 10am , the program will be on the
subject of
HOW TO RECOGNIZE SCAMMERS AND WHAT TO DO WHEN APPROACHED..
Angie Miller,, a retired bank representative will be here to give you tips on how to avoid being deceived and hooked into their attacts.
The meeting begins at 10am at the Historical Society Museum at 1300 s Broadway (old city hall), Oak Grove, Mo.
You don't have to be a member nor is there a cost to attend.

Hello ,

In case you didn't hear, the WEBB family of Oak Grove, Grain Valley, Bates City, Bucklin, and all around the area are having the 110th family reunion the 11th of August.
Sorry, no one left from the first. Since Larkin WEBB's arrival in 1832, there has been approximately 580 sir names scattered around the area. So search your records. I may be your cousin. Scary huh.
Anyway, I would like to find your name on our records.
Good food and conversations. Come Anyway.

The Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a "SUMMER SALE-ABRATION" this Thursday the 25th.
Lot's of things going on including the Historical Society Museum will be
OPEN

So come-shop downtown, eat at the vendor trucks, talk to members of the Chamber, and stop in to see the Museum.
