The Madog Center for Welsh Studies/Canolfan Madog ar gyfer Astudiaethau Cymreig invites you to the next Welsh Voices lecture, Owain Glyndŵr and the Mortimers, presented by Gareth Jones of Cymdeithas Owain Glyndŵr.

This presentation examines the aftermath of the Battle of Bryn Glas (1402), the capture of Sir Edmund Mortimer, and the alliance forged through Mortimer's marriage to Catrin ferch Owain Glyndŵr. Through this lens, the lecture explores the political and dynastic significance of the Glyndŵr revolt and its place within the wider history of medieval Britain.

As part of the Welsh Voices series, this event offers an opportunity for scholars, students, and those with an interest in Welsh history and heritage to engage with an important chapter in Wales' national story.

Registration is free. Please visit the Madog Center website to register and receive the Zoom link: https://bit.ly/4qCmyrD
