We love Discovery Garden Exploration Time! Families can bring their children to play, socialize, and explore the garden every Thursday throughout summer. There are play stations throughout and hands-on activities led by our garden docents. Children are encouraged to interact with the garden how they want to, making this a great place for child-led play. It's also a great way for caretakers to socialize with other caretakers!

While you're here, take a stroll through the showrooms! Can you spot the koi fish and our resident parrots? Join us every Thursday from 10:00A-12:00P throughout summer for non-stop fun in the garden!

We've got a bit of a rainy week ahead of us! If you're looking for something fun to do, we'd love to see you at the Conservatory! Take a stroll around the rooms, watch the Koi Fish swim, or sit and relax while you stay dry and take in the lush gardens and serene atmosphere.

We're open Tuesday-Sunday, 10:00A-4:00P.

Happy June! We're so excited to bring back our Discovery Garden Exploration Time for the summer season! The theme for June is Pollinators. Enjoy hands-on outdoor activities led by our garden docents. Learn about native Illinois ecosystems and have fun playing in the garden every Thursday from 10:00A-12:00P, weather permitting.

This is a free event but registration is required. Make sure you grab your spot soon as these exploration times tend to fill up quickly.

Did you know we have resident parrots? While visiting the Conservatory, you often hear the calls of these birds as they talk to each other or their favorite visitors. Sara is known to engage visitors in song and dance. Skipper is the youngest addition to the Conservatory.
