Oakesdale Historical Society The Oakesdale Historical Society and Mc Coy Valley Museum represents the dedicated effort of citizens to preserve and interpret our rich, local history.

Featured in the museum are many antiques and artifacts from the early years of the railroad, businesses , and the people that started it all. There is a library with books, journals, and pictorials depicting the history of the town and Steptoe Butte State Park.
