Oakham Historical Museum The Oakham Historical Association was established in 1899. Today the museum houses artifacts hundreds of years old. We are always seeking new volunteers!

The museum often hosts open houses for public viewing as well as community events.

Please join us tomorrow at 2:00 PM at the Oakham Historical Museum for “A Winter Solstice Celebration" with Singer, Yodeler, and Multi Instrumentalist Roger Tincknell.
The event is free and for all and refreshments will be available.
We hope to see you all there!

On Sun. Dec. 4th at 2:00 PM please joint us at the Oakham Historical Museum annex building 1221 Old Turnpike Rd. in Oakham for "A Winter Solstice Celebration" with Singer, Yodeler, and Multi Instrumentalist Roger Tincknell.
This will be a festive program featuring songs from around the world bringing fun and light to the dark of winter. This program is free and for all ages, so bring the children and enjoy an afternoon of song. There will be refreshments available.

In the case of inclement weather, there is a snow date of Dec. 11th.
We hope to see you all there!

Please join us this Sunday October 30th from 1-4pm at the historical museum located at 1221 Old Turnpike Rd. Oakham for our special exhibit called ”Eva’s corner” as well as it being our fianal open house of the year!

We will be serving cider and cider donuts as well and the event is free admission!

The Oakham Fire Association is holding an Oaktober-fest Chicken BBQ this year! Please show your support to the men and women who are always there in times of need. We have 120 tickets available first come, first serve! You can purchase tickets at the forms of contact below, or reach out to any firefighter and we can assist you. We are holding a table for Town signs at the Town Common tonight, there will be tickets available there as well. Please share!! 🚒👩🏼‍🚒

All proceeds to go towards the creation of a new outdoor children’s play area at the library! You don’t need to attend the event to win!
