Tripod lobed design influenced by regional Tarascan Pre-Columbian styles. Stamped signature on bottom " Jose S. Perez Pamatz". Large and thick walled. The Pérez family is known for their high-quality handmade copper folk art.

We are sharing some exciting local and regional works on eBay to reach a wider audience. This watercolor by Duncan Alanson Spencer is a fabulous example. Spencer painted many landmarks in Mariposa and Madera county like this barn in Bear Valley.

This watercolor depicts the Trabuco family barn in Bear Valley California between Hornitos and Mariposa. The sun in shining behind the barn which casts a shadow towards the viewer. There is a man wearing cowboy attire standing next to the barn with a dog.

I am very excited about our Pop-Up exhibit at Stellar Gallery celebrating Dia De Los Mu***os and Halloween. Our reception at Yosemite Gateway Art Center is Thursday, Halloween night from 5 to 8 pm! We are still fine tuning, but the show is open now! It is scary. It is thoughtful, with works by many artists! Come see the show! The dead are respected and the living will be there! Sometimes talent leaps forward, celebrating success and defying all attempts to deny, demean or reject it! These two artists are super talented and deserve attention! Leo Haven Oconner Leo O'Connor and Trowzers Trowzers Akimbo Fine Art are in the same orbit. They came together for a short time here in at Yosemite Gateway Art Center on Sunday for Leo's send off party to The Art Institute of Chicago. I applaud them both! Without Trowzers, I would be arrested... just kidding! I would not have move here to the Oakhurst Area. Without Leo, I would not have the faith that I do in a new generation of artists ready to take on the challenges and risks of making a career in the arts! Wow, and OMG! The Sierra Art Trails catalog is headed to the printer. Lina Jane's Moonbow Fee exhibit is in full swing at Gallery 5. On Sunday we celebrate Leo heading off to The Art Institute of Chicago! Lina Jane said to me tonight, "It has been a crazy year!" I know, but it is good crazy, and there is more to come!
