The Syncaster 9643
Made from collected parts with a vintage Rauland Amplicall base.

As with most of ReTech’s pieces the Syncaster 9643 looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi thriller. Cognitive disruption is this sinister skull’s intended use in ReTech’s nightmare narrative.
Black vertebrae slink hauntingly towards the vintage base like a deadly serpent. Turn the side crank and the light at the top of the skull engages as the grotesque slack-jawed cranium appears to teeter on the brink of a maniacal, otherworldly shriek.

M3MORY CORRUPT has many jolting moments, the kind that make your skin crawl and then you laugh. After all, it’s only a nightmare.

Hey there

It’s been awhile and we’ve missed you. UMA is back from hibernation in a new temporary location with
MEMORY CORRUPT
works by ReTech

ReTech’s work is inspired by unsettling dreams he’s had since a young child envisioning a future in which humanity didn’t fare well. Using his art to invite others into his Orwellian universe ReTech incorporates upcycled materials such as radio tubes, machine parts, and vintage film footage that represent nearly 150 years of human technological innovation.

Opening Reception is
June 1st
6-9pm
357 Geary St San Francisco

ReTech will be in attendance. Delve into his creative process and discover the hidden links to past pioneers in quantum physics.
