Arborealis Forest

Arborealis Forest Arborealis, a multi-sensory art installation being built to be unveiled at the Burning Man 2015 festival.

Arborealis, a multi-sensory art installation, is a group of artistically sculptured trees placed in a circle to create a forest in the middle of any environment. In the daytime, participants will be able to climb the intricately woven bark of the trees, lay in its many hammocks, and seek refuge in the play of dappled light in the middle of the forest. In the evening, our forest invites its partici

pants to compose an audio and visual environment unique to their kinetic movements. By triggering sensors, dancers are able to control the soundscape and the light displays projected onto the trees, and coming from within its intricately woven trunks. We don’t believe in the separation between art and observer. We want our visitors to be affected by and effect our art.
