This exhibition showcases a dynamic range of work produced in our junior and senior level courses, offering a glimpse into students’ creative growth and artistic exploration.

The opening reception will be on April 23 from 5–7 PM.

This year's juror is Britta Urness from Eastern New Mexico University.

Now up in the gallery, Land and Likeness!

Land and Likeness brings together four artists from the Permian Basin.
UTPB Alum Catherine Allen, Odessa College Art instructor Daniel Sorensen, Midland College Art instructor Michael Hubbard, and rancher/painter Alice Leese.

This exhibition examines each artist’s engagement with landscape and portraiture, addressing the physical geography of the region alongside the psychological dimensions of identity.

It will be up until April 9th with a reception on March 5th from 5 - 7 PM.

The 2025 Freshman–Sophomore Juried Student Exhibition will open with a reception on Thursday, November 20, from 5–7 PM, and will remain on view through December 14.

The exhibition features artwork created by students in 1000 and 2000 level art courses.

This year's juror is Daniel Sorensen, the Department Chair of Visual & Performing Arts at Odessa College.

A new installation of paintings is up in the Nancy Fyfe Cardozier Gallery.

The work is by Baron Batch, former Pittsburg Steeler/Texas Tech football player and Odessa native. He is a multidimensional artist, exploring various mediums such as poetry/written word, painting, designing spaces and experiences, sculpture, architecture, and community organizing.

This exhibit will be up until November 7th and we will have an artist reception on October 9th from 5 pm - 7 pm.
