Join us for The Re*****on Rendezvous at The Claire House!

Hal and Rachel Kench most graciously invite discerning guests to rendezvous at their historic former rectory, an 1884 manse where the Old World meets the most delightfully otherworldly company. The evening shall commence with elegant appetizers before guests, in the spirit of fellowship, embark upon an exclusive tour of the lovingly restored residence. Though painstakingly renovated and rehabilitated, the home retains its bygone charm… and perhaps a few lingering characters from its storied past. One suspects history has never tasted, or felt, so thrilling. Society would be wise not to miss such an intriguing engagement.

Today we were thrilled to welcome another tour group to the Frederic Re*****on Art Museum as part of a new river cruise itinerary with American Cruise Lines. It is always exciting to see visitors from across the country discovering the life and artwork of Frederic Re*****on right here in the City of Ogdensburg, NY .

A heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible docent, Anne, for once again providing an unforgettable guided tour experience. Her depth of knowledge, passion for Re*****on’s work, and engaging storytelling continue to leave a lasting impression on our guests and help bring the collection to life in a meaningful way.

As the Museum continues to refresh and re-imagine its galleries, visitors are experiencing Re*****on’s art from an entirely new perspective. The artwork itself remains timeless, but the way guests move through the museum, connect with the stories, and engage with the collection is evolving in exciting and immersive ways. There has never been a better time to experience Re*****on.

Your support helps us continue sharing Frederic Re*****on’s legacy with new audiences while bringing cultural tourism to Ogdensburg through opportunities like these. Please consider making a contribution to our Spring Appeal to help support the Museum's efforts: https://frederic-remington-art-museum.myshopify.com/collections/support-the-museum

There’s something quietly powerful about watching someone pause in front of a work of art and truly take it in. In our newly refreshed Winter Gallery, visitors are discovering a more intimate side of Frederic Re*****on, one built on a deep admiration for the horse, the animal that shaped the American West.

This spring, your support helps create moments like these. From preserving fragile works on paper to re-imagining gallery spaces for a new generation of visitors, every donation helps keep Re*****on’s legacy alive and accessible for all who walk through our doors.

If you believe art has the power to inspire, educate, and connect us across generations, we invite you to support the Frederic Re*****on Art Museum during our Spring Appeal.

Together, we ensure these stories and moments continue. 🤎

Have you been by to see the refreshed Winter Gallery yet? If so, what were your thoughts?

WAIT… were those Frederic Re*****on sculptures in the Oval Office during the finale of The Boys on Amazon Prime ?!

During the final showdown between Homelander and Billy Butcher, eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted reproductions of TWO legendary Re*****on bronzes: The Broncho Buster and The Rattlesnake.

And honestly? That choice feels very intentional.

Re*****on’s work has defined the imagery of American power, masculinity, mythology, and the frontier for more than a century, making these sculptures a perfect visual backdrop for one of television’s most chaotic finales.

What makes it even more fascinating is that it has been many years since both sculptures appeared together in the actual Oval Office.

We noticed them immediately - Did YOU catch them?

Mark your calendars — Sally’s Speakeasy is moving to Saturday, November 7, 2026!

As part of our commitment to supporting the broader North Country museum community, we have chosen to move this year’s event to allow guests the opportunity to attend another regional museum fundraiser taking place on the original date: the North Country Children's Museum will be hosting their annual Night at the Museum event on Saturday, June 6th.

We’re excited to bring the party back this fall with an evening inspired by the glamour and intrigue of the Roaring Twenties at the Frederic Re*****on Art Museum.

Thank you for your continued support, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you in November. Stay tuned for more details!

A rare opportunity for collectors of Western art and sculpture.

The Rattlesnake digital bronze reproduction remains one of the most striking works available through the Museum. Cast in bronze with exceptional detail, this limited-edition reproduction is part of an edition of only 100 total castings.

At this time, two castings are prepared, and ready to ship immediately.

For collectors seeking a significant statement piece, this is a unique chance to acquire a museum-quality bronze without the typical production wait.

To inquire or reserve one of the available castings, please contact the Museum or visit our website: https://frederic-remington-art-museum.myshopify.com/collections/digital-reproductions
