From the most profound, deep, dark, quiet comes that exquisite glimpse of Light

"Stillness"
The Buddha in the triangle came to me while floating in a warm pool during a cranial sacral session. The image returned to me over and over but often with the tree as a tool to help me understand the network of Light which supports all things. The Light from above and below supports such deep deep stillness.

This is an how I like to envision our daughter sitting on her sofa knitting the net of light which connects us to each other. No matter the distance. This is the same network that connects everyone on the planet, from thread to thread and light to light. The original is oil on canvas, 24″ x 48″.

This subject is a dear friend that I have known for years. It’s a tree that grows along the trail we frequent. lt grows on the side of a hill and the soil has washed away from its roots leaving this beautiful snarl of rocks and roots all tangled up and supporting each other. Every time we have a heavy rain causing mudslides and flooding, I go to the trail expecting to see my tree laying across the trail but no, she still stands!Supported by little but spirit and determination.
