On Saturday, May 30th, we'll have performances by:
⭐ Soul/R&B artist Taylor Deneen collaborating with whimsical fiber artists Star Baby Heaven
⭐ Hip hop artist Gregory II, collaborating with poet Gabrielle G

It's and we're thinking about Cosmic Callback, our temporary immersive sound and light experience in Summer 2024.

Cosmic Callback took participants on a cosmic journey through the heart of a star and back again. The opening and closing events featured a collaboration with RACE Dance Collective, along with a live performance of the sound component.

Meet the artists for our next Future of Sound Sessions, happening this Saturday, May 30th! This performance series pairs musicians with artists of another discipline to create a one-night-only live performance collaboration.

⭐ FEATURING ⭐
🎤 Gregory II is referred to as Poet. He's coming on the scene with vibrant rhymes, unique voice and his style is very appealing to peoples ear. He catches peoples attention by his blunt truthfulness and story telling in his music. He's born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is just the beginning for Gregory II. He's starting unknown, but finishing unforgettable.

📖 Gabrielle Grant is a member of the red dirt community, a passionate self published poet and creative writer of many mediums. Her love of storytelling began in early childhood and has flourished since. Her books are currently available through Amazon and Full Circle Bookstore in OKC, with a website coming soon. You can view her work via Instagram .

🎙 Taylor Deneen is an R&B/neo-soul singer-songwriter from Oklahoma City who enchants listeners with her powerhouse yet sweet, soul-filled vocals and catchy hooks. Her music—a mesmerizing tapestry of raw emotion and captivating beats—draws you in with every note and lyric. A 2021 Berklee College of Music graduate and Top 24 contestant on Season 24 of NBC's The Voice in 2023, Taylor was praised by John Legend as the 'best soul singer' of the blind auditions. Let Taylor's soulful vibes take you on a musical journey you won't forget.

🪡 Star Baby Heaven is a whimsical multimedia art duo based in Oklahoma City and composed of Jess Frimberger and Corine Florence. They explore the concept of storytelling through fiber textiles in the form of dolls, reworked secondhand clothing, collages, painting, and more. They are dedicated to creating without waste and use locally sourced and secondhand materials that take on a new life through art. Their work takes you to a place where you can connect with your inner child and experience where art meets whimsy.

🎶 Married is a duo of long-time (just) friends Robin Rhoades and Donovan Funk exploring atmospheric soundscapes through blends of electronic and guitar music.

Every first Thursday, we partner with Make Oklahoma Weirder for an Open Mic Night featuring all kinds of performers. Check out this one from last month's Open Mic, when ClayBar led us all through a group rainstorm sound bath, helping us all feel more present and connected with our bodies.

What would you do with 5 minutes on the mic? Sign-ups are open now for our next one, taking place on June 4th. Deadline to sign-up is 5/30 at noon, and this months theme is "Fluidity."
