Chickasaw artist Brenda Kingery's dynamic contemporary artwork has been exhibited worldwide. Kingery’s distinctive style derives from her First American heritage and from Japanese influences she learned while studying at the University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa, Japan. In her work, Kingery combines weavings of intricate, thin lines with loose gestural shapes to convey movement. Contact us today to collect a Brenda Kingery original.

Cherokee artist Tamara Sigler often includes origami motifs in her paintings. "If origami is included in a narrative, I select the pattern or print documents to fold into the bird or animal shapes and arrange them on bases with wire stands so they also can be painted from life," says Sigler. See Sigler's multistep process come to life in her piece "Life of Birds: Taking Wing" (16" x 20") at Exhibit C.

Cherokee artist James Andrew Smith has a strong passion for painting still-life imagery. He often chooses to depict flowers, preserving their beauty on canvas. "I am able to capture that moment when everything is as good as it will be," says Smith. "Nature’s beauty is impermanent, but the still life will endure." Make "Memories of Another Story" (40" x 40") your own when you visit Exhibit C.
