Member vendor spotlight: Art by Connie 🎨

Connie Hurst is a local artist from Old Fort. Her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas and she creates a variety of paintings featuring wildlife, still life, and whimsical subjects. Connie is always working on new paintings and brings them to BMTM every Saturday. Stop by her booth to find your new favorite piece of art!

Due to inclement weather conditions, we must cancel this Saturday’s October 10th market.

The safety and well-being of all our attendees, participants, and staff are of utmost importance to us. After careful consideration and consultation we made the difficult decision to pause market operations.

The forecast indicates moderate rain with periods of heavy rain, steady wind, and wind gusts up to 45 MPH all day Saturday, making it unsafe and impractical to proceed as planned.

We understand the disappointment this may cause, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation. Our team worked diligently all week to prepare for this Saturday, but the weather conditions are simply beyond our control.

We understand what a post-Helene storm feels like, and we hope you know we are thinking of everyone’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being at this time. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. In the meantime, we hope you all stay warm and dry and safe. We’re looking forward to reuniting under sunny skies next Saturday, October 17th.
