The Centennial Cultural Center Memorial Day Program will be held Sunday, May 24, @ 2:00 pm. Special recognition will be given to LaSalle native Mr. Jerry Roberts during this year's Memorial Day Program.

Sergeant Jerry Devoyd Roberts
February 5, 1969-December 10, 2006
Sergeant Jerry D.Roberts began his military service in the United States Army in September of 1987. He was a Transmission Systems Operator in the 313th Signal Battalion Company out of Fort Hood, Texas. Upon completion of Basic Training, Jerry and his young family were stationed in Kaiserslautern, West Germany, where he lived and served for over three and a half years. Jerry served in Operation Desert Shield from December 15, 1990 - May 19, 1991, where he received the Southeast Service Medal, Bronze Star (3), and the Kuwait Liberation Medal. Jerry Devoyd Roberts was Honorably Discharged as E-5 Sergeant in July 1993.

🎀 🫖 The Centennial Cultural Center held its First Annual Mother-Daughter Tea on April 11, 2026. Attending the event were beautiful princesses who enjoyed tea and refreshments with their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and friends.Ms. Kala Reitzell performed a lovely ballet piece for the guests for the opening of the High Tea. Dr. Rachal Gaddis Floyd played Disney pieces on the piano and enjoyed singing and dancing. The guests were invited to join Mrs. Rachal while singing and playing fun pieces on her ukulele. 🫖 🎀
