The Olympic Flight Museum is pleased to announce the 2026 Olympic Air Show on June 20-21st will feature GREG HOWARD AND HIS G-200. Greg started flying in 1974, doing odd jobs at the airport to pay for flying lessons. He got his private pilot’s license and eventually was able to afford his own plane – a 1947 Luscombe. He used the Luscombe to commute to work every day the Northwest weather would allow it. Like any commute, it quickly became boring. To combat the boredom, Greg started doing basic aerobatics on his way to and from work.
After the Luscombe and a few Pitts’, Greg now flies the G-200. At 900 pounds with 200 HP this carbon fiber aircraft is high energy and high performance.
Greg has been performing precision aerobatics in the Northwest since 1980 and has over 3,800 aerobatic hours logged. He is 5 time Northwest Regional Aerobatic Champion in the Unlimited category and is a former member of the US national aerobatic team. Greg's sequence is constantly moving and virtually all the action is tightly packed towards show center.

The Olympic Air Show is pleased to announce Intercity Transit as a sponsor! Intercity Transit has generously offered to provide an efficient transportation option for patrons at this year’s show. Simply park your vehicle at the Labor & Industries building in Tumwater, and take the FREE shuttle bus directly to the Olympic Flight Museum. Multiple buses will run every 5 minutes (IT and school) from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This option greatly relieves the limited parking at the airport and is an economical option for our attendees. Carpooling is encouraged!

The Olympic Flight Museum is pleased to announce the 2026 Olympic Air Show on June 20-21st will feature the WSP’s fleet of aircraft and patrol vehicles will be on display at the historical hangar. Built in the late 30s, the hangar serves as the home base for WSP Aviation.

The Olympic Flight Museum is pleased to announce the 2026 Olympic Air Show on June 20-21st will feature the Piper L-4H Grasshopper courtesy of Rainier Squadron of the CAF.
This aircraft with WWII combat history was built April 6, 1944 at Lock Haven, PA. She arrived in England via ship in May and was with the 9th Air Force as a liaison aircraft and for training during D-Day. In the Fall she was transferred to Army Ground Forces, was flown to France and was part of the Ninth Army, 30th Infantry Division. In December 1944, the 30th ID was northwest of Bastogne near the town of Malmedy, Belgium when the German 1st SS Panzier Division attacked on December 16 - the Battle of the Bulge. The 6 weeks of the battle cost over 89,500 US casualties. 330430 was used for reconnaissance and directing artillery fire. After a month of repairs in February 1945 she returned to the 30th Infantry Division as they crossed the Rhine River into Germany. She continued with them through war’s end. After the war, remaining in France, she was purchased by an Army Sgt. for $300 and was ultimately shipped to the US in 1946.

Attention all new and returning Olympic Air Show Volunteers! The Volunteer Training meeting will be held Saturday, June 6 at 1:00 at the Olympic Flight Museum. This training meeting is required for all new and returning volunteers. The meeting will be instructed by Tom Thorning, Ramp Boss, Jim Gibson, Air Boss, and Teri Thorning, event coordinator. A variety of positions are available, including Pilot’s Lounge, museum gift store, security detail, etc. We look forward to seeing you there!
