Hello All!!

I’m Christine, manager of Boom Studios/Gallery Boom. We’ve had artist studios at 2120 State Ave NE (behind the new Vic’s Pizza on the East Side) for the past two years.

My lease is up at the end of May and after twelve years of the Boom dynasty, I’m ready to wrap it all up for good. I’m closing up all things boom as it’s time for me to be done, not because the space isn’t a fantastic location for studios.

I have artists who would stay if someone would like to continue managing art studios in the space. I and my class/website advisor would gladly hand down our knowledge to help the next person(s) create their own studio space.

I’m done with this project but the space has been really perfect for quiet, cozy studios. It would be lovely if having a community space was picked up by another with vision. There are current artist who could continue their leases and I would love to share my experiences on how it worked for us.

This flexible space is a great way to dip your toe into studio life with only a 7-month lease commitment required. Come join our amazing group of artists with free parking, additional display space on the gallery wall outside your studio, and quarterly open studio events to participate in.
