The 48HFP is excited to begin its first year in Omaha under the direction of Teresa Siena and Alexander Hamilton. We know that they will bring the excitement and camaraderie of filmmaking to Omaha through the fast-paced completion of the 48 Hour Film Project. The dates will be announced soon.

About Teresa:

Teresa participated in the 2014 Des Moines 48HFP where her film "Muddy Waters" won Best Director, Best Film, and Best Ensemble. Currently, Teresa works in the film industry as a production coordinator and producer and says she is honored to bring this project to Omaha.

Teresa's hope is to bring a community of film lovers and story tellers together for a wild weekend. She'd love to have a winner from Nebraska represent Omaha at the Cannes Festival. She says, "There is talent in the Heartland. 48HFP gives everyone the opportunity to shine and show their gifts."

About Alexander:

This is Alexander's first year with the 48HFP in Omaha but he certainly had 48HFP experience, as he participated in the 2014 Des Moines 48HFP where he wrote the soundtrack to the film "Muddy Waters" that won best "Best Director", "Best Ensemble" and ultimately, "Best Film".

Currently, Alexander works for a fortune 500 company as a Multimedia Production manager, and also writes music for the band, "Of July". Alexander is excited to bring actors, directors, and musicians together to collaborate in this fun competitive project.
