The Museum of Oneida and Scott County Tennessee is looking for a few good folks who are willing to be dedicated and love our local history to help with future plans, events, staging, and to be a part of a newly formed small museum committee.

We will be needing help with moving, organising, cataloging, staging and rotating items, researching and future decision making.

All positions are volunteer basses only at this time.
Once the museum is set up permanently, all meetings and volunteer work will be based on a single day each month if that.

Basically we are creating a new museum board and want to know if you are interested.
A love and vast knowledge for our local history is a plus!

Send the museum a message if interested.

Did you know we have one of the rarest local soda bottles from Scott County?

This Oneida Tn Koca-Nola is only 1 of 2 known to exist. The only other one is located in the national bottle museum in New York and featured in the national Koca-Nola bottle book!

One of the greatest local pieces we’ve found yet.

Key, whistle and tag from the M-4 mailbus.

The M4 travelled between Oneida and Jamestown on the O&W line delivering mail, goods, people and workers to and from.

This pieces was found in a local barn clean out we did a few years ago. Inside of an old rusty toolbox burried under about 15 feet of junk!
