Orange Grove Pioneer Days will be Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18, 2026. The festival is located in downtown Orange Grove and attendance is free.

The festival features food and drink booths, arts and crafts, live music, IBCA sanctioned cook-off and kids activities.

A Flag Presentation and Flag Raising Ceremony will take place on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM in front of the museum flag pole. Since Pioneer Days is a joint venture including the City of Orange Grove, The Orange Grove Volunteer Fire Department and the Orange Grove Area Museum, Woodman Life will donate new U.S. flags to the city, fire department and museum. The museum will honor its 2026 Friend of the Museum, Jana Robinson.

The Orange Grove Area Museum will be open from 10:30 AM till 4:00 PM. Admission is free.

We have Pioneer Days tee-shirts for sale at the museum and we will be also be selling them at Pioneer Days. We have sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL on sale for $20.00 each.

Finally, Orange Grove Area Museum gives thanks and appreciation to our generous Pioneer Days Sponsors including South Texas Bar Bell gym in downtown Orange Grove who both donated to our raffle and allows use of their parking lot for our food court.

The Orange Grove Area Museum will be closed tomorrow, April 3, 2026–Good Friday.

We will be open again next week for our regularly scheduled days and times Wednesday, Thursday and Friday—10:00 AM to noon and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

We will have special hours on Saturday, April 18, 2026 during Pioneer Days 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Everyone is invited to visit the Orange Grove Area Museum free of charge!

We are selling tee-shirts for Pioneer Days. We have sizes XS up to 3X. The tees sell for $20.00 each. They can be purchased at the museum before Pioneer Days or on the day during Pioneer Days.

The Lighting of Downtown Orange Grove was very nice.

The lighting up of downtown Orange Grove will take place at 5:45 PM on Sunday, November 30, 2025. A select Christmas movie will be shown. The public is invited.

The Downtown Orange Grove Christmas Festival will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Activities will take place all afternoon and evening (2:00 PM till 8:00 PM) with an illuminated night parade through downtown. Santa Clause will be visiting with the children after the parade at the Orange Grove Area Museum. Come one come all!
