Well-deserved recognition for the OP Garden Club! (Full disclosure: these remarkable gardeners have decorated the Jolls House Museum during the past two holiday seasons and we are grateful for their contributions!).

Ahead of hosting another successful Plant Sale last weekend, the Orchard Park Garden Club (OPGC) was recognized with three honors by the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State District VIII, celebrating the club’s contributions to community beautification, historic preservation and outreach efforts across Orchard Park.

Fantastic Friday to Saturday Soaker...

Friday will start out very cool and make a nice recovery into the mid 60s with cooler readings found closer to Lake Ontario. Early morning sunshine will be replaced by clouds for the afternoon as skies stay dry today.

Saturday will see rain showers arriving in the morning becoming steady and heavy at times into the afternoon then becoming more scattered in the evening. Close to an inch of rain will fall across the area with a gusty southeast breeze and cool temps in the lower 50s.

Sunday will begin with a few showers then turns mild with highs near 70F under a mix of sun & clouds.

Memorial Day looks mild and mainly dry with only a few isolated showers in the afternoon and temps in the mid 70s.
