Heck of a week. Our Florida friends and family have been through the ringer, almost feeling like we just stepped out of a washing machine. The shop got beat up a tad, 2+ feet of water and we became the temporary hurricane shelter for a few minnows. We are well on our way to being better than ever. Best business part of the week...turning on the computer this morning and finding a sparkling business review from my 8 year old son.

One year since the event, that happens somewhere else, happened in our backyard. All day today, people have been walking past the shop pilgrimaging to three blocks away. The rain hasn't stopped them. I've driven past Pulse basically everyday over the past year. Here's a pic from several weeks ago. Never once has there not been someone there paying their respects.

When framing work needs to be done, but it's Spring Break and your son is at the shop all day. 4 rolls of packing tape + one large lawnmower box + 7 sheets of foamcore = one car, one fort, and the beginnings of a garage. Priceless.
