It's ! This week we're highlighting an upcoming program that will give your stack of sketches, fabric scraps, or unfinished canvases a second chance! Over two days, instructor Christine Peloquin teaches the fundamentals of collage, drawing, and painting while challenging artists to unlock and find their inner voice.

"I work individually with each person trying to get their projects to a place that they love. I encourage everyone to incorporate mixed media collage into what they already do! I will work with each of you on whatever style project you would like to work on whether it is faces, figures, landscapes, still lives or abstracts. There are no set rules in my workshops. I try to create a fun time that introduces new techniques and a comfortable learning environment to enhance where you already are. All levels are welcomed!"

Don’t miss this exclusive evening of elegance, intrigue, and theatrical brilliance! Seats are sure to SELL OUT!

On Saturday, Nov. 14, guests will dance in the enchanting OMAM gardens beneath the stars to the smooth sounds of singer-songwriter Mary Cuchetti before moving up to the rooftop for a captivating performance of Thou Art. The internationally acclaimed production, starring Colin Cox and Ayla Vitale, has traveled to France, Scotland, Australia, Hollywood, and now Ormond Beach!

Set in the candlelit final hours of William Shakespeare's life, Thou Art is no conventional biography. As the Bard struggles to pen his will from the solitude of his attic, his conscience (embodied in a relentless and amusing presence) rises to challenge his truth. She questions the cost of genius, the secrets behind the plays, and the legacy he believes he deserves. This psychological drama is a "restoration" of history, stripping away the centuries to reveal the man beneath the myth while you stand as his silent, masked jury.

Sponsored by Nancy R. Lohman and organized by the OMAM Guild, this special event is part of the Once Upon a Time immersive experience created to raise critical funds supporting the museum's mission and programs. Tickets ($75-$95) include heavy appetizers. A cash bar will be available for b**r, w**e, and Renaissance-themed cocktails. Buy tickets through our website (link in bio) or by calling the museum at 386-676-3347.

“My drawings are inspired by real events, war films, science fiction and other media. They are layered with ink / watercolor washes and lines in an effort to give the forms a sense of dimension and physicality. I am inspired by the military drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, perspective studies by Paolo Uc***lo, and illustrations by Ron Cobb.”
